The Story

I've been a passionate gamer for nearly 50 years, and what a ride it's been. I grew up in the era of mechanical arcades — when gaming was something you could feel and hear — and watched in awe as the '80s and '90s exploded into the golden age of coin-op arcades. Now here we are in the modern age, and the evolution never stops amazing me.

The same goes for the internet. I remember the days of dial-up and AOL — the anticipation of that familiar connecting sound — all the way to the blazing gigabit fiber we enjoy today. It's been an incredible journey, and this site is my little corner of the web to share that passion.

Glad you're here.

The Journey

Then & Now

1970s – Early 80s
Mechanical Arcades
Before pixels, there were pinballs, electromechanical games, and the raw sensory thrill of a machine that clicked, clunked, and rang.
1980s – 90s
The Golden Age of Coin-Op
Pac-Man, Galaga, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat. Quarters meant something. The arcade was a place, a community, a world.
Early Internet Era
Dial-Up & AOL Days
That modem handshake. Waiting for a JPEG to load line by line. You had to earn your internet back then — and it felt like magic anyway.
Now
The Modern Age
Gigabit fiber, 4K gaming, cloud everything. The evolution never stops — and neither does the wonder of watching it unfold.
